Sagadahoc County Sheriff's Office
The Sagadahoc County Sheriff's Office is a full-service law enforcement agency that maintains patrol, criminal investigation, civil, transportation and administrative divisions. It supports Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.), which is an international education program that seeks to prevent the usage of illegal drugs, gang activities and violent behavior. The Sagadahoc County Sheriff's Office serves and processes various writs, orders, subpoenas and other civil papers for local courts and other county and state departments. The office handles issues related to the investigation of criminal offenses, traffic accidents, death scenes, domestic violence and public disturbances. Located in Bath, Maine, the Sagadahoc County Sheriff's Office also responds to reports of traffic hazards, suspicious persons, and residential and business alarms.
