The East Windham Conservation Area is a community-based nonprofit organization dedicated to conserving and providing access to local lands and clean water for present and future generations. Serving the towns of Gorham, Gray, Standish, Westbrook, and Windham, the organization manages conserved lands that include public access preserves with trails and water access.

As the stewards of the Presumpscot River watershed, they coordinate the Sebago to the Sea Trail, a 28-mile route from Standish to Portland. In addition to land conservation, the organization offers educational activities and events, fostering community engagement and awareness of local natural resources.
