Visit the other side of Acadia National Park and join us for a ferry ride aboard the Bar Harbor to Winter Harbor/ Schoodic Ferry departing from downtown Bar Harbor. You'll pass lighthouses, mountains, fishing villages mansions and lobstermen hauling their traps. Picnic by the ocean, or use the new bike trails from Winter Harbor around the Schoodic Point section. We are also bicycle and dog-friendly. The Free Island Explorer Bus meets the ferry and goes to Schoodic Point, Winter Harbor, Birch Harbor and Prospect Harbor.
