Department of Health and Human Services

The Calais Fire Department has been serving citizens since 1828 and provides a range of programs and services, such as fire prevention and suppression and rescue services. It provides specialty training to all its members and other area firefighters. The department offers a fire explorer program for teenagers. It is located in Calais, Maine, and organizes a variety of fundraising activities. It also organizes special events, such as a snowmobile parade and fire convention.
