Cony High School

Cony High School is a public school that provides academic education to students in grades nine through 12. The high school is located in Augusta, Maine and enrolls more than 850 students. Cony High School is approved by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. Its curriculum includes English, mathematics, science, social studies and family and consumer science. Additionally, the school provides courses in accounting, fine arts, economics, journalism, industrial technology, psychology, Web design and desktop publishing. It also provides advanced-placement and honors courses in English, French, biology, chemistry, algebra and precalculus. Cony High School additionally provides technical education and organizes various extracurricular activities, such as dance, jazz band, drama and debate competitions and it offers the National Honor Society program. It also provides various sports activities and has a media center that provides a large collection of curriculum books, journals, audiovisual aids, magazines and newspapers.
