We are a wholesale and retail seafood shop . We sell live shellfish. Our main business is our grit free soft shell clams ,though we now have our oysters that we grow ourselves,we have lobsters (seasonally),and hard clams. Our retail business is primarily a summer business however if you call ahead (and we are home )we will gladly go down and sell you live shellfish.

Hands down the best clams in Maine and a great selection of oysters! Clam Hunter does mostly wholesale to restaurants and stores, however they have started doing retail as well so anyone can swing...

They keep their oysters and steamers in a salt water circulation tank, so they are alive, and really clean. The owners also dig their own clams.
