Bowdoin Summer Music Fest

Bowdoin College is an independent, nonsectarian institution that was founded in 1794. It is a coeducational, residential college that offers instruction in more than 40 departmental and interdisciplinary subjects. Bowdoin College offers enrollment of more than 1,700 students in various courses, including African studies, history, geology, archaeology, chemistry, visual arts, physics, Asian studies, biochemistry, biology and Latin American studies. In addition, it offers Italian, German, Spanish, Russian and French as foreign languages. The college offers various sports activities, such as basketball, cross country, softball, ice hockey, rugby, soccer, squash, swimming and diving, tennis, indoor and outdoor track and field, golf and volleyball. Bowdoin College operates a museum of art that includes more than 15,000 artifacts in ancient, European, American, non-western, modern, contemporary, prints, drawings, and photography categories.

Trinity Catholic School provides Bible-based education for students in pre-kindergarten through grade eight. It offers classes in science, art, computer applications, math, physical education, history, English and French. The school operates a parent-teacher association that conducts regular meetings and promotes several fundraising activities. Trinity Catholic School has an on-site library that offers a selection of books on a range of subjects. In addition, the school conducts sessions in liturgical and instrumental music and technology education. It also offers various before- and after- school programs. The school s staff includes a nurse, administrative assistants, custodians and teachers. Trinity Catholic School maintains one of its campuses in Lewiston, Maine.
