In 1987 Sophia started as a massage therapist in Maryland and in 1994 move to Maine to live in the country and homestead with her family while establishing her massage therapy practice in Portland. Blue Heron Ayurvedic Health was born in 2012 when Sophia attended the Kripalu School Of Yoga And Ayurveda.
