Birdsacre is a 200-acre sanctuary in Ellsworth, Maine, dedicated to wildlife conservation and education. It provides a unique experience for visitors to connect with nature through its six miles of nature trails and by meeting its resident Avian Ambassadors, including non-releasable native owls, hawks, and vultures.

The Stanwood Homestead, built by pioneering scientist Cordelia J. Stanwood, serves as a museum that showcases her pioneering work and glass-plate photography. As a non-profit organization, Birdsacre relies on community support to fund its educational programs and habitat conservation efforts.
