This place has become our go-to stop every time we're coming through. Fantastic food, fast (and kind) service. Not to mention that a fougasse makes a great hostess gift any time we're northbound.

Established in the January 2002, Beach Pea Baking Co. is a provider of with a wide variety of artisan breads, cakes, small desserts, morning and baked goods, and espresso drinks as well as a full line of soups, salads, and sandwiches. These include triple chocolate, rosemary batard, brioche loaves and buns, bon bombs, pastries, sweets and coffee, to name a few. Located in Kittery, Maine, the bakery continues to provide the Seacoast region and beyond.

Second best bakery in the area (Lils is number 1). Bialy is the way to go, or fougasse if you need bread for a crowd. I'm also partial to the spinach and cheese croissant. Desserts are solid.

Stopped here for lunch on the way into Maine. Cute indoor and outdoor seating with friendly staff. Ordered a Build your own sandwich and a turkey avocado. Delicious bread (especially the focaccia)...
