History5 Alarm Fire Apparatus, Inc began its operations in March of 1992 when five men came together and began a company solely to service, repair, & refurbish fire apparatus. These five individuals brought with them, over 30 years of firefighting experience and over 9 years of fire apparatus construction experience. 5 Alarm opened its doors as a maintenance facility in Houma, Louisiana and they began performing repairs to fire apparatus. The company immediately expanded its operations to include maintenance contracts in addition to its existing contracts on various fire apparatus. 5 Alarm also installed a fire pump site & began performing pump tests at their facility. The company then began taking on distributorships for lines of firefighting equipment. In addition to refurbishing fire apparatus, 5 Alarm began fabricating and manufacturing their own apparatus on April 5th, 1995.
