The University of Louisiana at Lafayette is a learning center that is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Located in Lafayette, La., the university provides a variety of undergraduate, graduate, doctorate and technical education programs to more than 16,300 students. Louisiana State University Eunice

Located in Eunice, La., Louisiana State University of Eunice is a community college founded in 1964 by the Louisiana state legislature, providing basic higher education to students in southwest Louisiana. It serves more than 2,000 full- and part-time students. The university offers various degrees and diplomas. The college offers transfer, associate degree, and technical and continuing education programs. Its continuing education division provides distance education, evening and noncredit short courses, and fire science, summer enrichment and advanced college program for high school students. The center also organizes workshops on business and industry.
