I didn't visit this spot because I had an appeal to file. I walked by and noticed the beautiful architecture. It was simply lovely. I wish it wasn't the weekend or I would have gone inside.

Go in on the Poydras Street entrance. Metal detectors with lots of US Marshals, so be smart. That's a choke point, so if you are there for a big trial, get there early. Otherwise, a tiny...

I attended court on a work related matter. It is your typical courthouse. Security tight but polite guards. Various court rooms w/ associated offices for Judges.
