Webb-Rite Safety, Inc was founded on October 23, 2000 in Baton Rouge, La. by Don L. Miller, Secretary and Don M. Miller, President to provide the Industrial and Construction community with locally produced fall protection products manufactured to the highest standards possible. Don M. Miller has 24 years experience in manufacturing fire retardant clothing and industrial needle trade products. Initially third party testing of our products was done by Underwriters Laboratories to establish Webb-Rite products as being competitive in quality with any other products produced at that time and done by an internationally accepted testing facility. In 2003, Webb-Rite Safety, Inc produced its first marine product, a type 5 work vest and full body harness. In 2005 Webb-Rite Safety, Inc was awarded its first patent for the only Coast Guard approved combination work vest/harness combination for use when both flotation and fall protection are required. Webb-Rite Safety, Inc pioneered the first urethane coated harness/lanyard manufactured to improve durability, chemical resistance, dielectric properties with a weld/heat resistant coating. In 2007, Webb-Rite Safety, Inc moved into a new 10, 500 sq. ft. facility located at 670 Allendale Drive in Port Allen, La. across the river from Baton Rouge where we continue to manufacture our original product lines and now fabricate Webb-Rail systems, horizontal and vertical life line systems, stanchions, flange clamps, gallows, man baskets, specialty beam clamps, Jacob ladders as well as repair self retracting lanyards and recertify those products requiring recertification. Webb-Rite Safety, Inc strives to provide the best products/components and assemblies possible for all your fall protection requirements. Webb-Rite Safety, Inc represents internationally recognized fall protection systems manufactured by Uniline in the U.K. IKAR SRL blocks manufactured in Germany are featured along with Mechanical Safety Equipment SRLs and fall protection products built in the U.S. Webb-Rite Safety, Inc can design, engineer and install fall protection systems for your special or unique applications. Webb-Rite Safety, Inc has designed and built systems in the marine, mining, aircraft, rail, military, transportation, agriculture, energy and petrochemical industries and we would appreciate the opportunity to solve your fall protection problems.
