The St. John Restaurant

We have eaten at St John's twice recently and both times we were served rice that was not cooked properly. It's hard and crunchy which and doesn't soften in the gumbo.

Lately, this place has been great. I like the smallest filet mignon, shrimp gumbo, stuffed shrimp, & grilled shrimp w/ grits. Caveat: Packed on Friday & Saturday nights; I suggest reservations....
