The All-Star Covered-Dish Country Jamboree, now in its ninth season, is a unique event in southern Louisiana that brings together a vibrant community passionate about dancing and live music. Hosted every Tuesday night from October through May, attendees can enjoy a diverse range of bands playing classic Americana, including genres such as Swamp Pop, Cajun, Folk Rock, and more.
In addition to the live performances, guests have the opportunity to take free dance lessons between sets or participate in potluck suppers by bringing a dish to share. The October season features the Emerging Artist Residency, showcasing eclectic acts like Poor Boy Krill & The Bottom Dwellers, led by singer-songwriter Demmier Jevon, who has made New Orleans his home.
