It was just like I remembered it... right down to how it treats People who the bartender thinks is a stranger & not aware of "da tricks" of the Abbey

Dark, dank, divey. Bathrooms in the alley outside so be forewarned. Friendly bartender. No food. Decent drink specials. Pretty typical NOLA hole-in-the-wall establishment.

I usta stop by this bar quite a bit. Got kicked off an outside seating area that was empty on a 95° day when the bar was fairly empty.. The quarter is very slow right now. It's dead of summer...
