History

I've always been drawn to the power of the visual image and its ability to tell a story, show emotion and document the moments of life. Beginning with roots in photojournalism and a fascination with the connections formed by people, I expanded that interest in visual images to include all types of stories. I photographed my first wedding seven years ago and have felt blessed and honored to work with couples as they commit to each other in front of family and friends as they begin a new journey together. We work with individuals, bands, news agencies, travel organizations and corporations.

My approach is photojournalistic and candid and my goal is to stay as unobtrusive as possible to capture moments as they happen naturally. During portraits I work in a more editorial portrait style. I will help you interact naturally to capture real moments that tell your unique story. I draw on a technical knowledge of the craft and a background in editorial and photojournalism to tell your story in images. I want your photography to be as unique and meaningful as you do. When you look back at your photos or share them with others I don't want you to just remember the moment, I want you to FEEL it. We tell all types of stories in images.
