Summit Consulting provides workers' compensation claims management, loss control and policy administration services on a contract basis for self-insured corporations and municipalities. It has thousands of employers throughout the Southeast. Its claims management division contacts injured employees and the treating physician to ensure the claimant gets proper medical attention and compensation. It also offers fee-based safety consultations to businesses that are not policyholders. The company s loss control division provides safety evaluations and physical survey of work sites along with audit and reviews of current safety procedures and programs. C.C. Doc Dockery and Thomas Petcoff founded Summit in 1977.
