The Stoner Avenue Skate Plaza, located on the Shreveport Riverfront, spans 12,500 square feet and was developed with input from local skaters and assistance from Rob Dyrdek and the DC Shoes Skate Plaza Foundation. Originally built in 2006, the park underwent extensive renovations in 2011, enhancing its urban design elements such as steps, benches, ramps, and handrails.

This innovative skate plaza is a pioneering concept in the world of skating, making Shreveport the second city in the United States to implement such a facility. Open 24 hours a day, the Stoner Avenue Skate Plaza serves as a vibrant community space for BMX riders, inline skaters, and skateboarders alike.
