Welcome to Southern Heritage Air Foundation, a dedicated Aviation Museum in Tallulah, LA, with a strong focus on WWII history. The museum is lovingly run by a team of passionate volunteers who are committed to preserving aviation history and honoring local and regional WWII veterans.
Established in 2004 by the late MS. Governor Kirk Fordice and his son Dan, the foundation's mission is to provide a unique experience of "Living History" through vintage aircraft and a vast collection of memorabilia related to WWII. The museum offers educational opportunities and momentum for the community to engage with this important history.
Thanks to the support of visitors and contributors, the foundation has been recognized with the Top-Rated Award from GreatNonprofits multiple times. From offering plane rides to hosting events and honoring veterans, Southern Heritage Air Foundation continues to make a positive impact, inviting all to share in the stories of bravery and aviation heritage.
