At Southern Eye Centers, we have an unwavering passion for eye care. It's what we adore doing and what our family has been dedicated to for almost a century. Our legacy dates back to 1923 when Lacy Bordelon embarked on a four-day journey in his Model T to attend the University of California Berkeley, where he became a member of the inaugural class to earn a Certificate of Optometry. He returned to Alexandria, LA in 1925 and started practicing optometry in the back of the Schnack Jewelry Company.
