Snapper was the second lunch spot we checked out in New Orleans. The portion sizes were similar but the flavors were not quite up to par. The shrimp was good but lacked the flavor on the seafood...
It's ok. But not great. It's very expensive for what it is, but that comes with the territory on Canal Street. "Cajun Burger" was just a frozen pattie and pushing $20. It didn't come with fries....
If you go, get the Oysters Rockefeller. Best ever -- large meaty oysters with generous amounts of charbroiled and cheese (Gruyère?). Sadly, I cannot recommend anything else. The crawfish etouffee...
We sat at the bar for drinks and appetizer. Great location! Highly recommend the steamed shrimp!
