In 1985, Jimmie, Peggy and 9 year old Tammie DeRamus opened Silver Dollar Pawn & Bargain Center, a 900 square foot building which employed 2 loan/sales employees. Over the years this business has evolved into a 20,000 square foot retail/loan outlet, 3 huge warehouses, a restoration facility. And 3 acres of support property to house the equipment and vehicles pawned. The DeRamus families years of servicing their community with excellent customer service and outstanding quality products has given them the opportunity to expand their business, employ more loan and sales associates, provide opportunity to individuals searching for careers involving internet sales and the ability to better serve the needs of our online clients around the world, as well as meet the needs of our local customers.
