After earning a degree in dietetics from LSU in 2008, the founder embarked on a personal training career by working in various gyms in the Baton Rouge area.

Feeling that conventional gyms did not prioritize member satisfaction and often led to negative experiences, the decision was made to open a personal training studio that prioritizes individual needs. In October 2009, Sandbox Training was inaugurated, marking the beginning of a journey dedicated to providing 15 years of fitness and enjoyment to the Baton Rouge community. The studio's success and longevity are owed to the loyal Sandbox family of clients who have embraced the founder's ethos of a welcoming and effective fitness space.
