History

Prior to opening our doors in the Livingston Parish, LA area, we had a driving school location in Baton Rouge, LA that was in operations for well over three years. In 2013, we decided to sell the Baton Rouge, LA location to our colleagues and make the move to Livingston Parish to be closer to all of our friends and family. It was at this time that we opened our doors to our Walker, LA office and was able to provide our services to the great folks of the surrounding area. We are humbled and blessed to remain an active part to this thriving parish and state.

Our Credibility: Road Scholars: Institute of Driving is approved, certified, and licensed by the Department of Public Safety & Corrections, Office of Motor Vehicles, and the State of Louisiana. Our Story: Our family has suffered the loss of two immediate family members, victims of drunk and reckless drivers. After the second loss, not only did we want to make sure students were receiving a thorough driver's education, we also wanted to spread awareness and to help prevent families from experiencing a loss of their own.
