Dr Sherman is excellent. He is very thorough and spends the time it takes to do the exams and procedures properly. It is a huge relief to have a doctor that is so professional.

Dr. Elizabeth Foley Bucher was born and raised in New Orleans. She graduated from Mount Carmel Academy and then attended Boston College, in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, where she completed the college pre-medical curriculum and received a Bachelor of Arts in English. She completed her undergraduate medical education at LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans in 2008.From medical school, Dr. Bucher went on to complete an internal medicine internship and dermatology residency at the University of Massachusetts (UMass) Medical Center in Worcester, where she served as Chief Resident in her final year of training. Following residency, Dr. Bucher was selected to complete a highly sought after ACGME accredited fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Procedural Dermatology under Dr. Mary Maloney, Chairwoman of the Department of Dermatology at UMass, past president of the American Academy of Dermatology, and Mohs surgeon for over 25 years. During this year-long, dedicated fellowship, Dr. Bucher completed over 1000 Mohs surgery procedures, including reconstructive surgery to preserve form and function with an emphasis on excellent cosmetic outcome.Following fellowship, Dr. Bucher practiced Mohs and Dermatologic Surgery as a member of the faculty at UMass and in private practice in the Boston area. While on the faculty at UMass, Dr. Bucher helped train residents and fellows in Mohs surgery and procedural dermatology and participated the Department of Dermatology Multidisciplinary Cutaneous Oncology Tumor Board. In 2015, Dr. Bucher returned home to New Orleans to join the Skin Surgery Centre. Dr. Bucher is the co-author of several papers and case reports that are published in peer-reviewed journals and has presented at a variety of professional meetings and institutional Grand Rounds.Dr. Bucher is a member of the American College of Mohs Surgeons, the American Academy of Dermatology, the Womens Dermatologic Society, the Louisiana Dermatological Society, the Jefferson Parish Medical Society and the Louisiana State Medical Society. She served as President of the Louisiana Dermatological Society for the 2019 academic year. She is on the medical staff of East Jefferson General Hospital with courtesy privileges. Dr. LeBlanc was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. Upon graduating from Jesuit High School, he proceeded to Charlottesville, Virginia for undergraduate studies at the University of Virginia, where he graduated with distinction with a B.A. in Human Biology/Bioethics and a minor in Spanish. He then returned to New Orleans for his undergraduate medical education at the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. Upon completion of his undergraduate medical education, he undertook an internship in Internal Medicine at the Earl K. Long Medical Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He then completed a residency in dermatology at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, where he served as Chief Resident during the final year of residency training. Upon completion of residency, Dr. LeBlanc continued his training at an ACGME accredited Procedural Dermatology fellowship under the mentorship of world-renowned Mohs surgeon and injector Dr. Gary Monheit at Total Skin and Beauty Dermatology in Birmingham, Alabama. During fellowship, Dr. LeBlanc directly assisted or personally performed over 2000 Mohs cases, as well as gained additional training in other aspects of procedural dermatology, including neurotoxins (e.g., Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin), soft tissue fillers (e.g., Juvederm, Restylane, Belotero, and Sculptra Aesthetic), chemical peeling, dermabrasion, and laser surgery. Dr. LeBlanc is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American College of Mohs Surgery.
