History

In 2007 Janette Rael began working with dogs in a professional capacity. This is where she started walking dogs, managing off leash group walks and began teaching hundreds of pet dogs. Janette began teaching dog training classes in 2009 shortly after becoming a Certified Trainer through the San Francisco SPCA's Academy of Dog Trainers, the Harvard of dog training schools. It was also in 2009 where R+ became involved fostering and working with local Bay Area rescues using her experience to help less fortunate dogs. Today R+ offers a complete range of services including dog training, dog walking, off leash group walks and pet sitting.

Dog Walking: Dog walking and off leash group hikes at Point Isabel and East Bay Area trails and parks. Insured and permitted by East Bay Parks and Recreation Department. Pet first aid certified. Dogs get the exercise they need to be happy and healthy. During their walks R+ includes basic training to maintain good manners and stimulate their minds. Dog Training Classes: Classes available in the Albany, El Cerrito, Richmond and Point Richmond area. Classes for puppies and adult dogs. You can teach old dogs new tricks! Puppy Training: We offer great affordable and convenient puppy training packages. We provide relief to new puppy parents and offer support to help you with all your puppy problems. Get your puppy off to a good start and call us today. Basic Training: For new adoptions or starting off your basic training. Have a dog that can come when called that won't pull on a leash or just learn their basic manners. Learn to build a better relationship with your dog built on trust and respect. Behavior Consultation: Have a problem beyond basic training? Behavior consults address common behavior problems barking, leash reactivity, fear and aggression and more.
