Quad Area Inc is a longstanding Community Action Agency based in Franklinton, LA. Established in 1976 under the Economic Opportunity Act of 1964, the agency has evolved to provide services across 7 parishes, offering 12 programs at 11 different sites. Through education and job training, Quad Area Inc aims to help individuals become self-sufficient.

Under the leadership of Executive Director Wallace Sibley, the agency's annual budget has grown significantly, now exceeding $9,000,000. Employment opportunities have also expanded, with over 100 local staff members, 300 part-time Foster Grandparents, and 500+ volunteers. Formerly led by Winnie St. Amant Sibley, Quad Area Inc has a rich history of advocating for the vulnerable and weak in the community. Mrs. Sibley's legacy includes implementing Results Oriented Management and Accountability (ROMA) in 1999, establishing literacy and Head Start programs, and significantly increasing the agency's budget. Today, Quad Area Inc continues its mission of waging war on poverty, embodying the spirit of hope, and striving for a better tomorrow for all.
