The only building in America to have served both as a U.S. and Confederate Mint, the Old U.S. Mint is now also a permanent exhibit space and home to many traveling exhibits. It's also the location of the Louisiana Historical Center, a resources for historians and researchers.

Another museum review. This is a great historical landmark to tour around. The admission is free, so there is really no reason not to pay a visit. The first floor is the actual U.S. Mint museum....
