MCDC is a non-profit, community based, multi program social service agency that strives to supply basic human needs through neighbors helping neighbors. The organization was formed by members of Stonewall Missionary Baptist Church, who agreed to set aside their differences and pool their resources in a manner to better serve the community needs. Today, MCDC is supported by Stonewall Missionary Baptist Church. MCDC has served Shreveport/Bossier City Parish since 2005 and currently has approximately 16 employees, 6 Foster Grand Parents and other numerous volunteers. The emphasis on the MCDC site is on providing quality service to the community. The two story facility houses numerous programs and services, and provides office space/class room space to various community service groups/organizations. MCDC is governed by a diverse and dedicated board of directors. These women and men give tirelessly their time, talent and resources to promote our mission.
