New Iberia Karate Institute (NIKI) is the oldest and sole traditional karate club in New Iberia, Louisiana, established in 1973. Led by Chief Examiner Takayuki Mikami, 9th Dan, and Chief Instructor Mr. Scott Decuir, 6th Dan, NIKI offers a platform for members and friends to engage in karate training, events, and interaction with Sensei.

With a focus on progress and development, NIKI conducts regular tests to assess the growth of its participants, resulting in new belt achievements and commendations for their dedication and improvement.
