Established in 1999 by M. Larry Richard, President and CEO, as a traffic control business, LR&A has grown from a single employee business, to a full-service company with ( 5 ) divisions. LR&A's history is one of growth and expansion. In 2002, we added a construction materials division to meet the growing needs of a rapidly increasing customer base. In 2004, the safety supply and equipment division which includes PPE equipment. In 2006, we completed construction of our new office building and warehouse located on 10-acres of property in New Iberia, Louisiana just off of the main corridor I-49 / Highway 90. The new facility provides us with additional inventory and service capabilities, allowing us to respond and anticipate to the critical needs of our customers. In 2007, LR&A added the sign manufacturing division specializing MUTCD / FHWA sign allowing us to be in control of providing the fast acting, reliable service our customers had come to expect. In addition, the sign division has grown into a premier custom sign and graphic designs business. In 2008, we added the materials management division which allowed LR&A to utilize our many years of experience in procurement, materials controls, and supplier diversity which allowed more collaboration and team building with our customers. In 2010, we completed construction and moved into our new sign manufacturing facility which allows all signs, banners, fleeting lettering, labels, logos, and more to be managed and manufactured in one climates control facility. Whether it's materials, equipment, or manufacturing of signs for our customers, LR&A provides the services designed to keep everyone safe while conducting public and private sector projects.
