Dakin Otolaryngology, LLC is dedicated to delivering high quality cost effective health services in those areas covered by ear, nose, throat, allergy, sinus, head and neck surgery, facial plastic surgery, hearing and balance for patients of all ages in South Louisiana.

Dr. Durel is an Otolaryngologist specializing in treating head and neck conditions, with a focus on allergic diseases and sinonasal disorders. He became a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy after additional training. A Lafayette native, he began his private practice there in 2012. He holds a B.S. in Biology from Millsaps College and completed his medical education and residency at LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Dr. Durel also serves as Chief of Surgery at Oil Center Surgical Plaza and is a clinical instructor at LSUHSC-New Orleans.
