At Ochsner Cancer Center of Acadiana – Crowley, we bring world-class cancer treatments closer to home. Our center offers the same cutting-edge care typically found at larger institutions in Houston and New Orleans, making advanced cancer care more accessible for residents of Crowley, Louisiana and Acadia Parish.

Joan Broussard, nurse practitioner, provides operating room assistance, post-operative patient management, and clinic follow-up visits for adult surgical oncology and general surgery patients. She earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from McNeese State University in Lake Charles, where she was a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society. Broussard later completed a master’s degree in nursing at the University of South Alabama in Mobile and became a nationally certified nurse practitioner for acute care and adult health.

Meet Allison Bertrand -A nurse practitioner with a focus on adult care and oncology, Allison has been practicing medicine since 2011 and is dedicated to providing individualized care for each of her patients based on their specific needs and treatment goals. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling. An Acadiana native, she practices here because she loves the people and the culture of the community.
