Lana Luong, NP

Precious Hodges, ACNP-BC, practices nephrology at Ochsner Health. She has been involved in the entire continuum of care of renal patients including inpatient acute, chronic kidney disease, research, quality and outcomes management and end stage renal disease. She has practiced nephrology since 2011. Precious earned her Bachelor of Science degree in biology with a minor in psychology from the University of Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi, in 2005. She then completed the accelerated Bachelor of Science in nursing program at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama, in 2008. She earned a Master of Science in nursing from the University of Alabama with a subspecialty in adult acute care in 2010. Precious started her career in Lafayette, Louisiana, and she has been practicing at Ochsner Lafayette General since 2003. Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading and traveling

Brook E. McIntyre, NP, specializes in general surgery at Ochsner Health. They offer advanced procedures for a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, like abdominal wall hernias, achalasia, appendicitis, burns, cysts, lipomas, enterocutaneous fistulas, esophageal disorders, gallbladder disease, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), hemorrhoids, inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease, pancreatic disease and thyroid and parathyroid disease.

Ashley Cook is a nurse practitioner who specializes in the diagnosis, treatment and management of acute and chronic health conditions. She is a Carencro native who understands the unique healthcare challenges and needs of Acadiana residents. Ashley earned a nursing degree from UL Lafayette before completing a master’s degree in nursing with a family nurse practitioner focus from the University of South Alabama in Mobile. She is certified by the State Board of Louisiana as a Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. In addition, Ashley is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is also a Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse.
