First time and won't be my last visit to this LARGE and FUN Mardi Gras Parade. Who knew?!? More floats than all of the parades I've been to in NOLA. Loads of Beads, Plastic Cups, and, Toys thrown....

The Krewe of Centaur was organized in 1991. The Krewe is bound together by the common goals of building a better community and the pursuit of good family fun. The Krewe of Centaur Mardi Gras Parade has grown over the years to become the largest parade in the Ark-La-Tex. We are one of the very largest, single parading Krewes in the State of Louisiana, and yes, that includes New Orleans. We have gotten bigger and better with every year. Our Parade is two Saturdays (10 days) before Fat Tuesday.

This Krewe has been amazing and very giving to the community for years! And the 2018 Duke of Frolic Danny Procell is a outstanding human being! Can't wait to celebrate with one of Shreveport Top...

Great times for over 20 years. Loved building our new float and being a rider and lieutenant of the float and fun times being the Queen Centaur XV 2015! All Hail Centaur!

I have to say, the "Krewe of Gemini XXlll " &" Kreue of Centaur" hosted the VERY BEST Mardi Gras Parade this year! My Aunt has been behind- the -scenes of Shreveport's Mardi Gras Events/Parades...
