Kinder High School

Carencro High School, located in Lafayette, La., offers a variety of educational programs to students throughout the state. The school has an enrollment of more than 1,400 students in grades six through 12. It is a public school that is affiliated with the Lafayette Parish School District. Bunkie High School has an enrollment of more than 400 students in grades 9 through 12. The school offers classes in math, Spanish, English, accounting, computer technology and physical education. It provides Title I and special education programs. Bunkie High School has a counseling department that offers information on graduation opportunities. In addition, the school provides several types of sports activities, such as golf, football, volleyball, tennis, and track and field. It offers membership options in the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America and the Future Farmers of America. Bunkie High School is governed by Avoyelles Parish School Board, which also manages elementary and adult education schools.
