Jewish Family Service is a social service organization that provides guidance counseling and psychotherapy services for individuals and families. Jewish Family Service provides case management, emergency response, housekeeping and transportation services for senior citizens, as well as assistance with financial issues and physical and social needs. Founded in 1926, Raintree Children and Family Services is a nonprofit social service organization that provides a variety of services for individuals and families. Located in New Orleans, the organization offers family care and after-school services. It is funded by the United Way and the state of Louisiana. Raintree Children and Family Services is a member of the Child Welfare League of America and is certified by the Council on Accreditation. Raintree Children and Family Services conducts several fashion shows. The organization operates the Raintree House, which is a group home for girls between the ages of 10 and 17. Raintree Children and Family Services informs and counsels at-risk children on the ways to stay safe through group activities.
