Kemper Williams Park, a 292-acre recreational area in Patterson, Louisiana, was established through the generosity of General and Mrs. Kemper Williams, who entrusted the property for public enjoyment. Since its donation to St. Mary Parish in 1979, the park has been managed by the Kemper Williams Park Advisory Committee and has seen significant improvements funded by various grants and donations.

The park offers a diverse range of athletic events and recreational activities, including golf, baseball, tennis, horseshoes, soccer, camping, and picnicking. Additionally, it features a civic center and a state museum that showcases the region's history in aviation and the lumber industry.

VERY well maintained, they cut the grass almost daily, mosquitos sprayers come out, they empty ALL the trash cans daily, clean the bathrooms and showers daily... Everything is very neat and clean...

Golf course, tennis, baseball, playground, rv sites, dumping station, shower house. Free wifi. The tent sites were being renovated during our visit, so they let us pitch our tent in an rv site....
