Dr. Velu is a board certified family medicine physician. She provides primary medical care ranging from adolescent to adult patients. Dr. Velu completed medical school at American University and is a graduate from the Family Medicine residency program at the State University of New York at Buffalo. Dr. Velu has practiced family medicine since 2006 and has been on staff at Ochsner since 2012.
