Jayendra K. Patel, MD

Dr. Kyle Jakob is a board certified General Surgeon, and a member of American College of Surgeons. In addition to his responsibilities as Section Head, Dr. Jakob also serves as Chief of Staff of Ochsner Baton Rouge. He specializes in a wide range of cancer care including breast, skin, soft tissue (benign and malignant), GI tract, and Endocrine. Dr. Jakob offers multiple surgical options such as robotic, and laparoscopic assisted surgery.

Brad Vincent, MD earned his degree in medicine from the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport. He performed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Vincent also did his Fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Critical Care Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine.

Patrice Tyson, MD, specializes in pediatrics gastroenterology at Ochsner Health in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Dr. Tyson performs esophasgastroduodenoscopy (a procedure that allows the doctor to see inside the patient's esophagus, stomach and upper intestine), colonoscopy, esophageal dilation, polypectomies, and pill camera endoscopy.
