Baton Rouge Area Electrical JATC
The Baton Rouge Area Electrical Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee (BREJATC) has been dedicated to training top-quality electrical workers for nearly 75 years. This esteemed program, a joint effort between the Baton Rouge Chapter of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local Union 995, provides apprentices with the opportunity to earn while they learn through hands-on experience in the field.
As a registered and approved apprentice program, BREJATC ensures that students gain valuable skills without incurring taxpayer costs while contributing positively to the local economy. With affiliation to the Electrical Training Alliance (ETA) and Baton Rouge Community College, apprentices become part of a comprehensive training network that has successfully graduated over 350,000 workers nationwide.
