History

I have been in executive sales most of my career, calling on business owners. Once I retired from outside sales in 2009, i did some consulting but decided to become a licensed tour guide in New Orleans. I've worked for several large tour companies before starting my own business in 2016. Henley's Private Tours is my company and my passion is to show my guests this unique and beautiful city. This is custom private driving tour of the beautiful New Orleans. I'll talk about the; French Quarter/Bourbon Street, flood control/canals/pumping stations, Katrina, Treme, second line/funeral processions, Storyville, cemeteries, city park, Lake Pontchartrain, Katrina damaged neighborhoods, bayou St. John, festivals, Mardi Gras, Estates, Mansions, Garden District/University district, the Mississippi river and port, Cruise ships, river cruises, other venues to enjoy, and much more while including humor along the way. I am also experienced in Swamp tours and Plantation tours. I love to talk about our unique state and our wetlands too. I can customize a tour to include whatever your group wants, including combination tours with Swamp and/or Plantations.
