Happiness Bayou Tours

Happiness Bayou Tours is a small, family owned and operated business, just several miles from New Orleans. Take a break for awhile to come relax on the bayou, hear about local life and take in the scenery. Our authentic, intimate and fun tours take off from our dock at our bayou bar. Adults can arrive early or stay after the tour to come inside for drinks and/or a bite to eat from our menu of homemade dishes, and/or to purchase drinks (at local prices, not increased touristy prices) to take on the tour, including house drinks by the gallon. Captain George will take you through the waterways of Violet, St. Bernard Parish, Louisiana where you will see various wildlife that inhabit the area, camps on the bayou, fishing boats, and more. Captain George is also a commercial blue crab fisherman, and describes the crab fishing process. A lifetime resident, he shares personal stories about work and play while growing up in the immediate area, and on these waters. Happiness is the Way!
