You can't help but admire and appreciate the architecture of the Gothic hanging Jail. The third floor is not accessible so anyone but there's plenty to see on the first and second floors anyway.

This jail was built by the lumber company at a time when this area was lawless having been for a couple hundred years considered No Man's Land. The jail is notorious for having a double hanging....
