Dr. Clifton S. Mixon is a clinical pediatric psychologist at Ochsner Children's Hospital where he is the program lead for pediatric health psychology and the US News and World Report Pediatric Behavioral Health Specialty Survey. He has been at Ochsner since 2019. His expertise is in treating children and adolescents with acute, chronic or recurring medical problems. Dr. Mixon received his undergraduate and masters degrees from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, Louisiana, respectively. He received a doctorate of philosophy in clinical child and adolescent psychology from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. His residency and fellowship, both specializing in pediatric (clinical health) psychology, were completed at the Children's Hospital of Orange County in California. Dr. Mixon is licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Examiners of Psychologists and Mississippi Board of Psychology.

Alexis K. Liberto, PhD, specializes in pediatric psychology at Ochsner Health. They help children, adolescents and teens learn how to cope with their lives and other issues that may affect their mental health. They can help treat mental, emotional, social and behavioral health concerns.

Catherine R. Benoit, PA-C, specializes in thoracic surgery at Ochsner Health. They perform surgeries including robotic lobectomy, robotic lung wedge resection, robotic segmentation and stereotactic radiosurgery.
