History

My name is Katie Cox and I am the owner of Event Helpers. After spending 13 years in the restaurant industry, and then 6 years in the beauty industry where I did hair, nails, and make-up for weddings, films, and photoshoots, I decided to use my unique experience to create events. By the end of 2009 I started Event Helpers with just the help of my husband and my young niece. Over the last 5 years, Event Helpers has grown into having a crew of more than 50 event staffers. Each member of our team has a minimum of, but not limited to, 5 years experience. You can see how much we love what we do by how hard we work. We don't take for granted that we get to witness all the special moments in peoples lives like weddings, showers, anniversaries, graduations, and much more. Allow us the privilege of being part of your next celebration.

Specialties

We specialize in catering, staffing (servers and bartenders), decorating and setting up, and planning/coordinating events such as weddings, adult or childrens birthdays, showers, engagement parties, holiday parties, or any other special event. Our goal is that everyone at the event has a fantastic time including the host.
