Entergy Corporation is an integrated energy company engaged primarily in electric power production and retail distribution operations. The company owns and operates power plants with approximately 30,000 megawatts of electric generating capacity, and it is one of the largest nuclear generators in the United States. It delivers electricity to more than 2.7 million utility customers in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas. The company has annual revenues of more than $10 billion and approximately 14,000 employees. J. Wayne Leonard has been the chief executive officer of Entergy for more than seven years. He has been with the utility company for over eight years. Leonard earned a BS degree from Ball State University, and a MBA from Indiana University.
