HistoryFounder Katie Cashin has more than a decade of experience leading Pilates and movement classes. Her passion for teaching is rooted in the way she developed her own relationship with movement. Though she did not grow up immersed in athletics, Katie became an athlete through work, focus and persistence. Through movement, she opened a door to work on her soul and push herself to take on new challenges outside the studio environment. She knows what it is like to set and achieve a long-term goal (in 2005 she trained for and completed the New York Marathon) and return to movement following an injury. Her classes are challenging and soulful, sometimes even described as going for a ride, but she is by your side for the journey.SpecialtiesAt Workshop we focus on a single thought: your relationship with your body is the first relationship of your life. We're all works in progress, and when you work on yourself, body and mind, every corner of your life expands. In our studio, this translates to a diverse offering of expertly crafted classes designed to cover all of your movement needs. We're a one-stop-shop to stretch, sweat, jump and sculpt. Our intention is simple: to provide fun, feel-good classes that help you strengthen your body as you polish your spirit.
